    How to Mine with ๐ŸŽ…๐Ÿผ Dedmaroz Bitstream

    Notes

    • Only support Windows. Make sure you have done your Windows setup. If you haven't, you can check it out ๐Ÿ‘‰here.
    • Only support veopool.pw as the pool.
    • Start at a low speed (400Mhz). Requires a good cooling system (water cooling).

    Mining Instruction

    1. You will need dedmaroz's bitstream+miner and hashm1n3r python script/NDS nextJTAG. (We will use hashm1n3r python script for this tutorial, requires Vivado/Vivado Lab). Download here: dedmaroz amoveo and hashm1n3r python script
    2. Follow the instruction for using hashm1n3r python script here
    3. Edit working_dr with your working directory, cmd with your start.bat, comment custom_cmd section if you want to use launch.ini, xsdb with your Vivado's xsdb path, and hw_server with your Vivado's hw_server path.

    1. Create launch.ini and program.bat to ease the programming process.

    1. Program your VU9P/CVP-13 board with hashm1n3r python script.
    2. Once it's done, set your wallet and password in start.bat
    3. Find out your FPGA COM port. Usually the FPGA is detected as 4 COM ports, give them a try in start.bat.
    4. Set Windows 7 compatibility mode (Right click the cgminer.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Tick Compatibility mode -> Choose Windows 7 -> Click OK)
    5. start.bat example for 1 FPGA board: cgminer --disable-gpu --cainsmore-clock 700 -S \.\COM1 --url http://veopool.pw:8880 --user BDQHkddNo6Kt+BkOOHJHGx0AGsiyB+kQ7tAAatc3r0/vRtqxnAyaAyxrAdW4HmuxO9NXbx6vY3gUtQB9VoPh4iM= --pass x
